A topographical survey, also known as a land survey is an accurate depiction  of the land formation surrounding the area of interest. It includes all natural and manmade features, such as;

  • Boundary lines
  • Building footprints
  • Trees
  • Eaves and ridge heights of buildings 
  • Utilities poles
  • Inspection Chambers ( Gas, Water, Electricity etc)
  • Spot levels 
  • Changes in surface levels 

A surveyors collects data points from the area of interest and using the raw data collected is able to create an accurate visualisation of the area you wish to develop.

Depending on the size of the area of interest, we typically take 1-2 days to carry out the onsite data collection. Once this is completed, we will compile the information into a CAD file suitable for engineers, planners and of course yourself. We aim to have this completed within 1-2 weeks of the survey being carried out.

Now that the date is set our team of experienced surveyors will visit your site to carry out the survey. Depending on the size of the property, it can take 1-2 days to complete the onsite requirements and a further 1-3 weeks to deliver the CAD files.
